GenPro Appoints Co-Managing Directors to Lead Its Next Chapter of Growth

GenPro has appointed Ms Clara Chan and Ms Charis Michael as Co-Managing Directors, effective 23 July 2026, marking the beginning of a new chapter for the company.

The appointments reflect GenPro’s commitment to sustainable growth and delivering lasting value to its members and suppliers. With a deep understanding of the company’s operations, partnerships and strategic priorities, Clara and Charis are well positioned to build on GenPro’s strong foundations while ensuring a seamless leadership transition. As a leadership team, they will guide the company through its next phase of growth, upholding the high standards of service, transparency and operational excellence that have become hallmarks of the GenPro brand.

The appointments follow the decision by Ms Maria Theodosiou to step down after a successful tenure as Managing Director. Under her leadership, GenPro reinforced its reputation as a trusted maritime procurement partner, broadened its network, and enhanced the value it delivers to both members and suppliers.

The Board and management team extend their sincere appreciation to Maria for her dedication, professionalism and contribution to GenPro’s development and wish her every success in the future.

As longstanding members of the GenPro team, Clara and Charis combine deep organisational knowledge with broad industry experience. Their appointment ensures continuity for our members and partners while positioning GenPro for continued growth.

Together, Clara and Charis share a vision to strengthen GenPro’s leadership in maritime procurement by delivering greater value and driving smarter, future-ready procurement excellence.

As the maritime industry navigates new challenges and opportunities, GenPro continues to turn collective buying power into competitive advantage. While leadership transitions are part of the journey, the focus remains unchanged: delivering procurement solutions and unlocking better commercial outcomes for its stakeholders.
