Against the scenic backdrop of the Mediterranean Beach Hotel, GenPro hosted its “Wake Up to What’s Next” Breakfast Networking Event on Tuesday 7 October — gathering nearly 100 maritime professionals for insightful discussions on the future of maritime procurement.   The seaside setting was a fitting choice — an inspiring atmosphere for exchanging ideas and fostering new collaborations in the very element our industry thrives in.

During the event, Managing Director Maria Theodosiou unveiled the next milestone in GenPro’s digital evolution: the acquisition of SeaConnect, a supplier-facing platform that will now be fully owned, rebranded, and operated by GenPro.

Ms Theodosiou further noted that it will form part of GenPro’s broader digital offering and be made available to members as an optional, value-added solution. It was emphasised that this is not a one-size-fits-all approach, and members who prefer to continue with their existing systems will continue to benefit fully from GenPro’s services and from OPTIMA’s intelligence layer.  The pathway to digital transformation is tailored to the pace and structure that suits each member.
